ITB Berlin 2008 Tourism Fair award went to the TRNC as the third best stand in Europe.
The award for the best stand went to Greece and the second award went to South Cyprus

Women's Day in the TRNC
Today in the TRNC Womens Day is celebrated and a series of events will take place to mark the day. Wreaths will be laid at the Zubeyde Hanim Bust and also Doctor Kucuks Monument in Lefkosa.
Missing Persons
The Remains of two Turkish Cypriots who were unearthed and identified by the Missing Persons Committee have been buried with a full military ceremony. These remains of two people missing since 1964 were found during exhumations in South Cyprus.
